Driving Excellence

Quality Carriers offers various awards & incentive programs for our drivers. Our goal is to recognize the outstanding performance of our drivers who provide reliable and safe transportation of products to our valued customers. The programs are Driver of the Month, Driver of the Quarter, and Driver of the Year.  

Who can be nominated:

  • Company Drivers
  • Affiliate Drivers
  • Independent Contractors/Owner Operators
  • Lease Purchase Operators

Ask yourself, do you know a driver who…

  • Operates safely and professionally
  • Demonstrates leadership abilities within your terminal location
  • Contributes to the industry and community

Eligibility:

  • Employed or Leased on as a QC driver for a minimum of 1 Year
  • No Preventable SKYTANK Events within the 12 months prior to the selection period
  • No more than 2 Road Side Inspection Violations within the 6 months prior to the selection period
  • No Road Side Out of Service Orders
  • Have not been selected as Driver of the Month/Quarter during the last calendar year
  • Must be current with all Monthly Safety Training within the 6 months prior to the selection period
  • No more than 2 Risk Associated Behaviors in Hours of Service during the 6 months prior to the selection period

Difference between Driver of the Month and Driver of the Quarter:

  • To nominate a driver for Driver of the Month your terminal has more than 50 drivers
  • To nominate a driver for Driver of the Quarter your terminal has less than 50 drivers

The Driver of the Month/Quarter winners are eligible for the Driver of the Year Nomination.

  • Terminal managers can nominate drivers
  • Drivers can nominate drivers

Where to nominate a driver for Driver of the Month/Quarter

  • Managers/drivers can nominate drivers via the nomination form sent via email or scan flyer at the terminal with the QR code to bring up the nomination form
  • Follow the instructions on the Google Form to submit your nominee

Deadlines:

Submissions are due at the end of the first week of each month for Driver of the Month and Quarter.
